Covenant’s mission includes challenging students to follow the example of Christ and fostering a recognition of God’s dominion over all creation. One way this is applied is through a weekly time of meeting together as a community in a non-denominational 教堂 service rooted in the historic, 正统基督教传统.

Every Wednesday, 较低的学校 students attend 教堂. The school community is actively involved in the service: leading music, 阅读圣经, 和背诵 主祷文. 艺术 performances by fifth-grade students include band, handbells, and choir. A weekly parent prayer time follows 教堂.

The son of a Navy man, 布莱恩Verbrugge grew up around the world. He attended Geneva College in western 宾西法尼亚, studying youth ministry and education; he also played college soccer. After starting at 威尼斯144777cm in 1996, Bryan took three years off to study theology where he earned an M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary before returning to Covenant. 现在, he serves the school as 上学校 Chaplain, 神学系系主任, 高级神学教师. He also coaches the Varsity Boys Soccer team. Bryan and his wife, KC, have four children.

布罗根丧心病狂的 grew up in Springdale, 宾西法尼亚, and attended Grove City College where he studied Middle Level Math/Science Education and Christian Ministries. 在他大学的暑假里, Brogan worked at Summer's Best Two Weeks, a Christian sports camp in Western 宾西法尼亚. After graduating from Grove City in 2022, Brogan came to Charlottesville by way of the Trinity Fellows Program out of Trinity Presbyterian Church. 除了他的牧师职责, Brogan teaches sixth grade Math and helps to coach the middle school girls' soccer team.

马特•约翰逊 grew up in a small town in northern Arkansas and enlisted in the Marine Corps out of high school. While serving in the Marine Corps, Matt found a love of teaching as a firearms and close quarters battle instructor. After surrendering his life to Jesus only a few months before leaving the Marine Corps, he worked in security for several years before going to college at PVCC and UVa later becoming 一个老师 at 威尼斯144777cm. His greatest joy in life is learning and teaching God’s Word to students, and helping others recognize and discover God’s love for them and the plans He has for them, 即使是孩子.
